Solo the Artist is a visual expressionist storyteller whose art may shock audiences but with closer examination provides an unconscious mirror to many experiences. Solo spent his most recent years cultivating the powers of imagination by bringing passionate stories to life as an actor which allowed many layers of his work to tell their own stories. Entering the art world with no formal training empowers him to express his natural voice and language of art. Solo’s pieces are rooted in four key elements (faith, love, empowerment and wisdom). The emotional energy his art draws in gives a natural desire to explore thought provoking revelations and have healthy uncomfortable conversations about the state of the world that we continue to create. Experiencing his art in person exposes the depths, stories and complexities of the world he knows and beautifully portrays.Solo the Artist was born and raised in Kansas City, MO in 1985. He attended Otero Junior College, then transferred to Lynn University on a basketball scholarship and graduated with a degree in Business Management. After a brief career in basketball overseas he knew his fate was to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. He began modeling which led to roles in commercials, television and film. As a current resident in Los Angeles his love for creating art has become his calling and true passion. Solo the Artist looks forward to sharing his story with the world!
